Why Your SaaS Marketing Site Isn't Converting
Your SaaS homepage has one job: get qualified visitors to book a demo or start a trial. Most fail because they optimize for aesthetics, not conversion architecture.
The conversion stack we use:
1. Above the fold: One clear ICP statement + one primary CTA. Not three CTAs competing for attention.
2. Social proof immediately: Logos, metrics, or a testimonial within the first scroll. B2B buyers need trust signals fast.
3. Problem → Solution → Proof: Don't lead with features. Lead with the pain your ICP feels, then show how you solve it, then prove it with data.
4. Multiple conversion paths: Demo CTA for enterprise, free trial for PLG, but each path should be distinct — not "Contact us OR Start trial OR Watch demo."
5. Technical foundation: Form submissions wired to CRM with source attribution. If you can't track which page drove the demo, you can't optimize.
We typically see 2–4x conversion rate improvements just from restructuring the homepage flow — before any design changes.
